Yellow colour day                   

Shades of yellow stimulates our little ones with happiness, energy and optimism…….”

With an objective to recapitulate and reinforce the effects of yellow colour, KG and Primary wing celebrated “Yellow day” on 4th Feb, 2022.

A day dedicated to the yellow colour was marked with children dressed in different hues and tints of yellow. Children were not only beautifully dressed in their favorite yellow dresses but also brought yellow objects to make it a complete “Yellow Day”!       

Tiffins were filled with bananas,custard,jelly,lemons, pineapple,cakes etc.Attractive yellow coloured toys like racing cars,teddy bears, dolls,balls ,balloons, flying discs, flowers and masks made the learning environment active and sporty.

The children enjoyed colouring yellow colour worksheet and were happy to take paper lemon,corn,sun and smiley to their  home.The teachers were beaming with pride when the confident little commentators described the yellow objects with expressiveness flair and ease.

 

Focusing on the theme the teachers planned art activities and their art. Work was displayed on the soft board.To make the children understand about the significance of yellow colour, various colourful activities including drawing, colouring, origami, paper craft etc were conducted in a lively vibrant and high spirited environment.

 

The motive of celebrating this yellow colour day was to make the children aware of yellow colour it’s significance and to develop fine motor skills in the students.
